Bobby or Kim Ji won is one of the members of a Korean boy band called iKON, in the iKON group, he plays the Main Rapper. Bobby is one of the 3 members of Team B that YG has set up as a member of iKON without having to do the competition first, iKON consists of 7 members in it, seven of these iKON members are Bobby, and the other 6 members are BI, Jinhwan , Junhoe, Donghyuk, Yunhyeongm, and Chanwoo. Bobby, iKON's main rapper, has many fans from various countries around the world.Bobby is a South Korean Rapper, Singer, Model, Composer, and Songwriter, Bobby was born on December 21, 1995 in Seoul, South Korea with the full name Kim Ji-won (which in Korean was written with 김지원), which where now he uses the name Bobby as his stage name, so he is known to everyone by that name. Bobby is a native Korean who grew up in America, Bobby and his family moved to Virgina, USA when Bobby was in grade 4 elementary school, and after that Bobby lived and grew up in America and at that time Bobby aspired to bring his family back to Korea and live with money produced by Bobby himself. Bobby is a lover of Winnie The Pooh, he also has many accessories related to Wiinie the Pooh, both those obtained from his own purchases and those obtained from fans. Bobby started to love Winnie the Pooh from a young age, when he was given a Winnie the Pooh doll and the doll was still kept until now and became his favorite doll.
Bobby lived in America to sit in junior high school, and when there was a global audition opened by YG, Bobby followed him and was accepted, Bobby went to Korea without his family and became a YG Entertainment trainee member since then, precisely on January 10, 2011 Bobby officially become one of YG trainee members. When he was a YG trainee, Bobby often wrote songs, just like B.I himself wrote many songs although not as much as B.I. When undergoing training, Bobby also never met his parents, he could only do video calls, and when a video call with his parents in America, Bobby always shed tears. Besides his parents, Bobby also loved his aunt and looked at him like his own parents.
After entering YG trainee, Bobby then met with BI and Jinhwan. When he first saw BI, Bobby spoke formally because he thought that BI was older than him, but apparently BI was younger than him, Bobby became close to both of them, until they and plus a few more trainees form Team B which was introduced to the WIN program: Who Is Next which in this event Team B will fight Team A, where the cast will be given the opportunity to debut soon, until the final Bobby family still lives in America and not can watch Bobby's action directly in this event. Until finally Team B had to accept defeat from Team A, Team A made its debut some time later with the name WINNER, Bobby was with BI and Mino took part in making one of the debut songs of WINNER, the song entitled Empty which has been popular and liked by many people. Bobby and B.I made an Empty song for WINNER as a prize because they had won the competition and made their debut.
Although not as much as, B.I, but Bobby also likes and often writes songs while still in a trainee, he has also written several songs which later became popular, Bobby and B.I is often referred to as Double B if they write lyrics together. Before his debut, Bobby had collaborated with Epik High in a song called Born Hatter, and he also appeared in his video clip, and because of that Bobby got a gift from Epik High Tablo, a watch. In addition to Epik High, Bobby has also appeared frequently in video clips or collaborated with popular singers, such as Masta Wu, Taeyang, Hi Suhyun, and others.
A year later, YG Entertainment announced that they would debut a group of boy bands again, the group was iKON consisting of 7 members in it, and 3 previously defeated Team B members had been designated as iKON members, one of whom was Bobby, while the other 2 were BI and Jinhwan, 3 places in iKON have been filled out and there will be more competitions in the Mix & Match event to fill the vacancy, there are still 4 more places, and those who take part in the competition are the remaining members of Team B who are not selected and added 3 members other trainees. Bobby, BI and Jinhwan did not take part in this competition, but of course they took part in the running of the competition, and at the end of the M & M event finally Bobby's family met him in Korea, and it was determined that 4 members had been chosen to fill the iKON group void, Junhoe, Donghyuk , Yunhyeong and Chanwoo. The seven of them finally collected and debuted with the name iKON. Before iKON debuted, YG also informed that Bobby's family members now live in South Korea.
